Kristine Duba Bio
Born to a military family Kristine grew up in Virginia, New Mexico and Georgia, and developed a passion for health and fitness at an early age. Her mother was a competitive power lifter and fitness instructor who taught Kristine and her two sisters the importance of developing lifelong fitness habits using fun, effective techniques with overall health as the #1 priority. In Kristine’s family, the gym was a second home where she landed her first job at the age of fourteen in Macon, Georgia. In high school, she thrived in sports ranging from gymnastics to track & field, gaining an appreciation for individual competitive sports. From that point on, she became focused on building a fitness career and helping people meet their goals!
After graduating from American Military University with both a B.S. in Exercise Science and an M.S. in Sports Management, Kristine discovered the Fitness Division of bodybuilding as a way of regaining a competitive, athletic outlet to showcase her skills in gymnastics and weight training.
As an amateur, she competed in both the Fitness and Figure Divisions of the National Physique Committee (NPC) circuit, winning numerous titles in both categories. In 2014, Kristine went on to earn her International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) professional status by winning first place and overall Fitness titles at the NPC Junior USA Championship in Charleston, SC. Just a few months later, she hit the stage for her professional debut at the IFBB Tampa Pro, placing an impressive third place out of thirteen highly competitive athletes. The following year, Kristine earned the most coveted prize in all of bodybuilding, an invitation to the 2015 Fitness Olympia, where she competed among the greatest athletes from across the globe.
Since then, Kristine has become one of the most active Fitness Division athletes in the IFBB, earning her way into the top competitive tier. She has qualified and competed in the 2015 and 2016 Fitness Olympia contests, seven Arnold Classic Internationals and placed in the Top Five at nine IFBB Professional competitions. Some of her most recent competitive highlights include a Second Place finish at the 2017 Europa Phoenix and Fourth Place at both the 2017 Arnold Classic Africa and the 2017 Arnold Classic Australia.
In addition to her B.S. and M.S., Kristine holds certifications as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor, teaching cycling, TRX, HIIT, strength training, Pilates, YogaFit, and core conditioning. She has helped countless others reach their fitness goals through customized personal training, nutrition programs, posing, choreography, and lifestyle coaching for over a decade, focusing on both competitive and non-competitive athletes.
In her personal life, Kristine coaches gymnastics and loves working with children. She is a military wife to an active duty Naval Officer, a step-mom, and an avid animal lover and fur-mom to two boxer dogs.
